Website Blocked / Can't Access Certain Websites

As you may know, we have been using a new, cloud-based firewall called Zscaler that is managed by Bell. We have been getting a significant amount of requests for whitelisting certain websites that users require access to. While this may be an inconvenience, it is necessary for our network security.

If you need a website unblocked, the correct procedure for gaining access to a blocked site is to submit a ticket to IT using the webform that is in IRIS or the link on your desktop. 

Please include the url of the blocked site (it's best to copy and paste from the browser) and include a screenshot of the error message. It will typically look like this: 




While there may be different error messages (file download blocked, suspicious url, etc.) they generally usually have the same format as above.  With this information we can provide all the details Bell needs to whitelist (unblock) the website.
