Unsure what to do if you suspect a phishing email? Don’t worry—we’re here to help!
You can use the handy Report a Phish Tab on the Ribbon of your email. (See Images Below) or you can forward the email to pcu@phishforward.beauceronsecurity.com and then delete it from your inbox.
Still uncertain? Forward the email anyway and call the sender to verify its legitimacy. It’s always better to be safe than sorry.
Here’s a helpful guide to recognize warning signs in emails
- Select the email you believe to be Spam / Phishing
2, On the top right hand side of your Ribbon Bar Click "Report a Phish"
3. A new window will open up in your Outlook. - Select the option that makes the most sense to you.
4. When you've finished filling out the report Click "Report Email"
5. Alternatively, you can "Forward" the email to pcu@phishforward.beauceronsecurity.com
6. Click "Forward on the email in question and add "pcu@phishforward.beauceronsecurity.com" in the address
7. Click Send
